Cruises are a wonderful travel option that you must try at least once in your life. One of the greatest advantages of cruising is that it gives you the chance to visit many cities without going through the hassle of packing and un-packing.

- Offer fascinating itineraries to places ocean large ships can’t reach.
- Passengers count in hundreds.
- You will be dropped off right in town unlike the large ocean ships, which may dock at industrial ports that are an hour’s away from the city.
- Your view will be cityscapes and countrysides and it will change but not necessarily more scenic.
- No long lines to get off the ship.
- River cruise staterooms prices are higher than most ocean cruise lines because the price is mostly inclusive of basic shore excursions, drinks, wifi and other perks that are not inclusive if you were to book a base ocean cruise fare
- Low key entertainment.

- Passengers count in thousands
- Offer broadway-style shows, large pools, water slides, multiple lounges, speciality restaurants, gym, park, cinema and many activities (e.g., some new ships include zip line).
- At least one day will be all day sailing (personally, i enjoyed the “sea” day! I had an open air afternoon workout, a massage with a sea view, enjoyed the spectacular Mediterranean sea view from the balcony/sundeck during the day and attended a broadway-style show at night)
